CL of the Year Award 2019 - 2nd Place
We are a friendly peaceful Certificated Location offering a mix of hard standing and lawned pitches for the exclusive use of Caravan and Motorhome Club members. Cherry Cottage CL is located on the outskirts of the small rural village of Middlemarsh, 7 miles south of Sherborne and 14 miles north of Dorchester.
The site is ideally situated to explore the beautiful Dorset countryside, coast and the surrounding counties.
A maximum of 5 units on site at any one time.

All pitches are serviced with EHU and individual Water Taps
Reasonable use electricity is included in pitch price.
We reserve the right to charge at cost for any electricity used in excess of 10 kWhper night at cost currently 16.25p per kWh
With effect from 12/5/23 any excess usage above 7kWh per night will be charged at cost 27p per kWh.
Toilet
Members are welcome to use our garden toilet, a short walk from the CL.

Friendly Dogs are welcome
We welcome a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.
Please contact us if you would like visit with more than 2 dogs prior to booking, whilst we love dogs not all our guests do.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times due to neighbouring livestock.
We have an on-site dog walk around our hay meadow.
There are numerous walks direct from Cherry Cottage including a nice walk to the local pub.
Please ask us for directions. or take a look at the OS App where we have saved some of our favourite walks direct from the site.
Public Transport
You can leave your vehicle on site and use public transport instead.
We are located on the No 5 bus route connecting Sherborne and Dorchester, please see current timetable for details.
The you can request the bus to stop outside our entrance!
Sherborne and Dorchester both have mainline train stations so you an explore further afield.
Why not take a day trip to Weymouth, Salisbury Exeter or even London.
